![]() | Sunbeam cars have a pedigree dating back to 1901-specialising in racing cars, sports cars and quality performance saloons. Achievements range from land speed records in the 1920's to the Alpine and Monte Carlo rallies in the 1950's & 60's with drivers such as Stirling Moss and Sheila van Damm. Today there is an enthusiastic group of people that restore, maintian and enjoy driving these rare classic vehicles. The Sunbeam Register meets on the third Thursday of the month* at CCC Clubrooms, Clark Ave Glandore at 7:30pm. Visitors are always welcome. (*no meeting in January) The Sunbeam Car Owners Club was formed in 1972 to promote the interest and enjoyment in Sunbeam cars by offering a friendly club environment with social activities, technical advice and assistance, spare parts and other resources. On the 23rd of October 2025 the club became a 'Register' within a new club that caters to all brands in the Rootes Group, thus becoming the Sunbeam Register of SA, a member of the Rootes Group Auto Club of SA Inc.
